Estimados amigos de IEEE Como sabrán IEEE es una organización de carácter mundial que trabaja día a día en favor de sus miembros. Quienes realizan dicho trabajo son profesionales que voluntariamente aportan parte de su tiempo para lograr que el IEEE sea la gran organización que es hoy. Por lo cual estoy orgullosa de contarles las cifras que representan dicho trabajo:
Estas y muchas más razones han motivado a IEEE a reconocer el trabajo de todos los voluntarios que se destacan por todos sus aportes. A continuación presento la información del Programa de Premios y Reconocimientos del MGA (Member and Geographic Activities Board) el cual esta diseñado para promover, reconocer y resaltar la excelencia en las operaciones de las unidades de IEEE (Regiones, Consejos y áreas, Secciones, Capítulos, Ramas Estudiantiles, y Capítulos de Ramas Estudiantiles). A continuación presento los posibles premios a los que pueden aplicar en lo que queda del 2008, sigue el link para obtener mayor información: To recognize individuals involved with MGA and/or the Regional Network who are recognized for a singular achievement in the development and completion of a project(s) or activity(ies) which are directed to the fulfillment of one or more of the goals and objectives of MGA. This award is designed to recognize those substantive projects or achievements of a relatively short nature (one to three years) but which have left an undeniable imprint on the fabric of Regional Operations. To recognize those individuals who have exhibited exemplary and substantive leadership of an extraordinary nature in implementing activities, which support MGA goals and objectives at the local, regional, national, and/or international level. To recognize the accomplishment judged to be the most innovative and effective in fulfilling one or more of the goals and objectives of MGA and/or the personal goals of the Vice President of Regional Activities. To recognize the accomplishment judged to be the most significant and effective in fulfilling one or more of the Transnational goals and objectives of MGA and/or personal goals of the Vice President of Regional Activities as related to Transnational activities. This award is made in memory of Dr. Larry K. Wilson. Modeled after the Achievement Award, this award is designed to recognize those substantive projects or achievements of a relatively short nature (one to three years) but which have left an undeniable imprint on the fabric of GOLD operations. Queridos voluntarios: No dejen pasar esta oportunidad, acá en Colombia hacemos cosas grandes e importantes, pero si no las hacemos saber al mundo nos estaremos perdiendo de conocer los logros de otros y que los otros tomen nuestras acciones como ejemplo a seguir.
